10 years of connecting data, people & ideas. 10K+ leaders and innovators. 10 reasons to join Connected Data London 2025.
We're celebrating a key milestone this week as we broke the 10k LinkedIn followers threshold. This is an opportunity to reflect on the origins and the spirit of our community, looking back at 10 years of consistent growth and looking forward to what’s coming next.
Haven't yet joined our 10k strong community? Follow us on LinkedIn below:
Connected Data Foundations: 10 years of growth
Founded in 2016, Connected Data London defined and brought to the fore a new domain. We have been working ever since with community and partners to push the boundaries of innovation, awareness and adoption on the intersection of Knowledge Graphs, Graph Databases, Analytics, AI, Data Science and Semantics Technology.
We are like you. Practitioners, enthusiasts, data geeks extraordinaire. We are looking for insights in data, order in chaos, and meaningful connections. We love playing with data, graphs, algorithms, semantics. It’s more than a job – it’s a passion.
Back in 2016, we felt something was missing from the events picture. An event that is focused, but not niche. Inclusive, but selective.
An event that is vendor neutral and no-nonsense. An event that gets today’s leaders and tomorrow’s innovators together, and lets everyone mingle and share the knowledge. We wanted an event that connects more than data and technology – an event that connects people and ideas.
So we made the road by walking, and put our money where our mouth was: we started our own event. Connected Data London has consistently grown since those early days to be the largest conference of its kind and we look forward to continuing to support our vibrant community.
Connected Data Impact: 10K+ leaders and innovators
Ten years later, the impact of the technology and the community behind it is growing. The knowledge graph market alone is estimated at USD 1.06 billion in 2024 to USD 6.93 billion by 2030, at a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 36.6%.
Connected Data’s audience has grown from ~6K to 10K followers between 2024 and 2025 on LinkedIn alone. This organic growth far exceeds the projected CAGR for the market at over 60% YoY - and that's not even taking into account our other channels - X, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, podcast platforms and our mailing list.

These are impressive numbers, but this is about more than just numbers. This impact is about all of us and all of you.
The Connected Data community is a core of industry leaders and innovators who have been around for more than a decade by now, plus a growing crowd of newcomers introduced to graphs by GenAI gaining exposure to the expressiveness of graphs and their ability to keep AI honest.
Everything is connected. Graphs exist to model connections. This is why graphs are everywhere. Today, there are more data points to be connected than ever before. There are also more connections made faster than ever before. And people are realising and leveraging the importance of these connections more than ever before.
We are honoured by your trust, and humbled to have contributed our part to spreading the word and the knowledge. We don't think of our community as followers, but as leaders and innovators.
We're building this community together, for those who use the Relationships, Meaning and Context in Data to achieve Great things.
